The music of Afraid to Wake
The music of Afraid to Wake is a hybrid of acoustic and electronic textures, improvisation and melody. The music is free flowing and free wheeling: it goes where it wants and never outstays its welcome.
Hypnotic, ambient, psychedelic, melodious and charming – this is music for dreamers and escapologists.
Available now is their debut release Escapology, a fast (ish) paced electronic ramble through the hedgerow, unearthing spooky noises and mellotron flutes along the way. Squelchy Moog abounds along with random guitar interjections.
Other worldly, far out groovy-ness! Best enjoyed with headphones!
